Admission to Reception 2025 – Welcome to Courtwood Primary School
The following arrangements have been made to help you and your child in becoming familiar with Courtwood Primary School and ensure a smooth transition. We hope that your child’s school journey will be a happy one and we look forward to seeing them in September.
The beginning of the Autumn Term is used by the teacher to make home visits, these will take place from Monday 1st September to Friday 5th September.
We start the children in 2 groups, morning and afternoon. This will give the teacher time to get to know your child and for your child to familiarise themselves with the classroom and the school routine.
Monday 8th September | AM Group – 9.30 – 11.30 | PM Group 12.30 – 2.30 |
Tuesday 9th September | AM Group – 9.30 – 11.30 | PM Group 12.30 – 2.30 |
Wednesday 10th September | AM Group – 9.30 – 11.30 | PM Group 12.30 – 2.30 |
Thursday 11th September | AM Group attend all day 9.30 – 2.30 | Not attending |
Friday 12th September | Not attending | PM Group attend all day 9.30-2.30 |
From Monday 15th September all Children will start full time. 8.45am-3.15pm.
